Lesser Town is one of the oldest and most impressive parts of Prague. It was inhabited in the 9th century and it was officially elevated to the status of town in 1257 by Přemysl Otakar II. There is a mystical Kampa Island or the most famous Prague street - Nerudova Street located there.
