Václav Havel Prague Airport is a modern and spacious international airport located on the northwest edge of Prague and around 17 km north of the city. All international flights arrive here (there is no other civil airport in Prague)

The  Vaclav Havel Airport Prague terminals are divided into 4. The first two are most well known by casual tourists. Terminal 1 where flights to countries that are not in the Schengen zone (EU) take off and Terminal 2 where airplanes flying within the Schengen zone arrive and depart. Terminal 3 serves for private and charter flights and Terminal 4 departs only VIP passengers.

  • The buses of the city public transport:
    • The line 119 from the Dejvická Metro Station
    • The line 100 from the Zlicín Metro Station
    • The line 179 from the Nové Butovice Metro Station (via the stop Divoká Šárka)
    • The night line 510 from the Sídliste Stodulky Station (via the stop Divoká Šárka, where it is connected with the night tram number 51)
  • A special barrierless line AE – Airport Express from the Main Railway Station – Václav Havel Prague Airport (operation 5.00 – 22.00, traffic interval 30 minutes)
